Granular urea is a fertilizer that's made from ammonia and carbon dioxide and contains 46% nitrogen. It's the most common solid nitrogen fertilizer used globally.

• It's not recommended for mixing with superphosphate fertilizers

• Not expected to present an explosion hazard due to mechanical impact

• Granules can be produced by prilling or by granulation in a drum granulator or in a pan granulator
